⁸ The wisdom of a sensible^[a] person is that he understands his way,
but the stupidity of fools is deceptive.^[b]
9 Fools scoff at the idea of guilt,^[c]
but favor is found among the upright.
¹⁰ A heart knows its own bitterness,
and no stranger can share its joy.
